Dionyssos Village is located 200 meters from the safest and most picturesque sandy beaches of Agioi Apostoli, with its three bays facing different directions. Responsible for the pink sand are the broken shells, and in particular the microscopic crustacean that complete their life cycle and die, leaving behind their bright red shells that stay in the water and are crushed in the sand, giving the beach this unique characteristic that is a point of reference for the whole of Crete.
